Making the best use of YCAM’s acoustic environment, this event presents movies with delicate yet very loud sound.

Film critic Yasuhito Higuchi has been organizing the Bakuon Film Festival at places in Japan and other countries, as an event where visitors can watch movies with sound from large, high-quality speakers that are normally used at live concerts. It takes place again this year under Mr. Higuchi’s supervision, at YCAM’s own Studio A that boasts one of the best sound systems in Japan. Visitors can look forward to a unique cinematic experience in a very inventive setting.
