Profiles

Hiroshi INUKAI

Game Director / e-Sports Producer

Born 1970 in Aichi. Studied under film director Masashi Yamamoto, before switching to the direction of video games. Focusing on the function of video games as communication tools for connecting human individuals, he dedicates himself to the production of competitive games exclusively. He hosted the Japanese national qualification and participated in such international “computer game Olympics” events as the Cyberathlete Professional League and World Cyber Games. In recent years he has been focusing on e-sports, a new type of sports that emerged at the intersection of IT (games) and sports in the information society, and has produced the spatial informatics themed exhibition ” Songs of Anagura – Missing Researches and their Remaining Devices” (National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, 2011) and other physical works beyond the confines of a small video screen.
