Kosei SAKAMOTO

Director / Dancer / Choreographer

He presides over dance company "Monochrome Circus". He is interested in communication through the body. Directed their own company and many different projects, and put through the Contact Improvisation and etc. His pieces of work have been performed in 27 cities of 17 countries. They broaden and deepen "contact" as a "reality" of dialogue between the bodies, a "functionality" of intersection of imagination and creativity, and a "venue" for the both to interlace.

Yuko MORI

Dancer / Choreographer

One of the main dancer, choreographer of Monochrome Circus, She has grew her career with MATOMA France - Japon ('93-98) with dancing on many international stages, e.g. Avignon Festival, Montpelier Festival. She is also one of the famous teacher for contact improvisation in Japan. she has been contributed to introduce many French choreographers to dance community in Kyoto. Organizer for International Contemporary Dance Workshop Festival in Kyoto, which is one of the biggest workshop festival in Japan.

Takayuki FUJIMOTO

Independent Director / Lighting Desiner / Artist

Fujimoto Takayuki has been an active member of dumb type since 1987 and designed lights for the company's production "S", "OR", "memorandum", and "Voyage". Other artists he has worked with include Ryoji Ikeda, Daniel Yeung, Ea Sola. In recent years, he has been focusing on using LED lighting projectors for theatre productions.He collaborated with "Monochrome Circus" in "Refined Colors"; a dance performance that focuses on the simple and direct play of body, sound and LED lights. Also he collaborated with Choy Ka Fai in DriftNet at TheatreWorks/Singapore 2007 too. Takayuki constantly seeks to explore the use of digital technology as a means of direct interaction with the performers, to create a sense of immediacy and contact in the performance.
