Koichiro ETO

Media Artist

Completed studies at the Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University, in 1997, and a doctoral course at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, in 2010. Doctor of Information Science and Engineering. Presently works as a researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), where he continues his studies on "service structuring and operation through user participation".

Founder and chairman of "Nico Nico Gakkai Beta". Main publications include "Patterns, Wiki, and XP: The Timeless Way of Creation" (Gijutsu-Hyohron), and "Nico Nico Gakkai Beta wo kenkyu shite mita" (Kawade Shobo).
