Nobuyuki UEDA

Learning Artist

Learning artist, director of Neomuseum, professor at Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Contemporary Social Studies and Department of Childhood Studies. Was enrolled at MIT Media Lab as a visiting researcher for one year from April 2010. After studying at Harvard Graduate School of Education, obtained his Ed.D. in studies related to children's intellectual faculties. Established the Neomuseum in 1990 as an experimental atelier for "learning art" by the Yoshino River in Nara, where he has been conducting numerous workshops. Author of "Playful Thinking" (Sendenkaigi, 2009).
