A theatre space for performing arts of various genres, ranging from dance and theatre performances to concerts, film screenings, lectures and others. Studio A is equipped with black walls and high-performance optical and acoustic equipment, as it was designed on the premise of hosting events that incorporate state-of-the-art technology, such as stage performances using imagery and large screens. The stage is big enough in depth and width to allow for flexible adjustment and arrangement according to what is to be shown on it. The end-stage type studio was designed to achieve the best possible viewing environment by creating a sense of unity of stage and audience that secures an optimal, direct view even from seats in the back. Seats are available on three floor levels. Arranged in tiers, the audience seats are storable in the basement, which allows flexible positioning of the stage, and makes the studio usable also as a fully flat space for art installations or sound-related events. The venue enjoys popularity among artists from around the world as a new space for creating and exhibition works from a wide range of artistic genres.
