A laboratory/atelier for both artists and staff members to pursue their daily research and creative activities. The space is equipped with high-degree IT devices necessary for system programming and all kinds of image and video production/editing work. Technical staff with specialized know-how is constantly present to assist with co-productions beyond genres such as art or stage production that underpin the laboratory's role as a productive center for innovative works. Equally brisk is the exchange with the outside world, among other in the form of development in collaboration with universities and private businesses. The Laboratory is the primary launch pad for residency artists and the YCAM InterLab, which is responsible for all interior design-related work at YCAM.
