At four points inside the school complex, vaulted, glass-surrounded patios function as connections between the studios, the foyer and the library. The incident light and the fresh, green leaves of the surrounding trees contribute to a comfortable atmosphere, and on sunny days visitors can have their coffee or browse through books while enjoying the soft sunlight that falls through the trees. The patios take on a romantic flair when illuminated in the evening and at night. The patios can be used for presenting installations or performances, and with ambient music playing in the background, for example, these spaces can in fact turn into artworks themselves.
