Nurturing a new type of "sportiness" through media technology
This exhibition introduces the educational programs implemented at YCAM since the center's opening. Next to showcasing previous workshops and those that are currently under development, the park style setting of the "Korogaru Koen Park" offers visitors the opportunity to experience a variety of devices utilizing sound, sensor and other media technology. Here the equipment is not the attraction, but by merging seamlessly with the environment, this new type of park stimulates the user's senses, and induces the creation of a new form of entertainment. As the accumulated data of user actions determine changes in the behavior of the park environment as a whole, each visit to the exhibition brings new experiences and discoveries with it.
